Munson Hybrids was started in 1934 by Carl Munson and purchased in 1965 by Bud and Alice Davis. In 1999, current owners and long time employees, John and Holly Hennenfent, purchased Munson Hybrids. In all that time, one thing has remained constant . . . a strong and independent ownership by families with deep roots in Midwest agriculture. The Hennenfent family has been active in farming for many generations in Illinois and John has many brothers, uncles, and cousins in farming today. Many of our employees also share the same background and direct commitment to area agriculture and the farming community.
